Time for the vocals!

This coming Thursday (Feb 2nd), Sarah will be heading into Legacy London studios to lay down the vocals for "Lies Define Us", track one off our upcoming 3-track digital release Malediction. Also, Martin Powell (ex-COF/MDB/Anathema) will be doing the orchestrations on all three tracks because frankly, he is ace!

First of the festival announcements

We've just been confirmed for our first festival this year - Metalurgicale Festival in Denain, France on June 9th. We're playling alongside MESHUGGAH and ANTHRAX. Head over to the tour page for further details!

Drums done!

Last Sunday (Jan 22, 2012), our drummer Damjan Stefanovic recorded his drums on three songs for a digital release entitled Malediction at Legacy London studios. These three tracks will be released prior to our May UK tour to help promote our shows and our last album The Corruption of Mercy (Listenable Records, 2011). We plan on having a special guest on one of the songs which could in turn end up being our second video clip if our bass player successfully sells one of his limbs to fund it ;)

Tour dates will follow soon, so stay tuned!

Oh, and remember, our lovely guitarist Dan Abela is playing his first ever gig with VOICES (featuring members of AKERCOCKE) on February 18th at The Intrepid Fox in London. It's also their first ever gig, so add them and show some support.

Dan Abela's new studio - now open!

Dan Abela's new studio Legacy London is now open for business to all bands wishing to have a killer album and recording experience. Check it out on Facebook - facebook.com/legacylondon.

Sarah to guest on new CoF record

On January 4th, Sarah will be entering the studio with Dani Filth to record vocals for the new Cradle of Filth orchestral album,Midnight in the Labyrinth. Her vocals will feature in all songs except "Summer Dying Faster". The album consists of selected songs from Cradle's first four releases. At this stage it looks set to be a limited edition release.

Angtoria revived!

SJD_Angtoria_revivedJust to update Angtoria fans, Chris Rehn & Sarah Jezebel Deva, the two founding members and songwriters of the band Angtoria, will be continuing where Angtoria left off some 5 years ago. The music will continue in the same vein as Angtoria, blending the world of epic orchestral music with metal, however, we sadly have to change the name due to reasons beyond our control. The name was totally made up by a member that is no longer involved with us. We wish him the best of course.

Writing has already started by Chris Rehn, who is currently locked in a dark room with some candles and some sanity pills! We will update you with our new name and our progress. The album will be written in the same way, with the same drive that Chris had in 2006. We are older now, more mature as musicians, and we will post a few samples for you so you can see how this is a strong follow-up from God Has A Plan For Us All. Check out our bio for the full band history at www.angtoria.com.
